Hydrometers and thermo-hydrometers measure density according to API degree scale for petroleum applications. Temperature of standardization is 60°F. Thermo-hydrometers feature a mercury thermometer in the body. Thermometer is calibrated at 32°, 60°, and 90°F. Each hydrometer is individually calibrated against NIST (USA) and DKD (Europe) standards.
