The test procedures of NBS Monograph 150 and 174 and ISO Guide 17025 are used as guidelines for calibration. H-B's quality standards meet ISO 9001:2000 and ISO Guide 17025, ANSI/NCSL Z540-1 criteria. Each thermometer, hydrometer, barometer, hygrometer, timer, clock, or stopwatch is calibrated against equipment and instruments whose accuracy is traceable to NIST (USA) and DKD (Europe). Each item is returned with a laminated Report of Calibration in a free custom storage box. Once calibrated, your instrument can be used to calibrate other equipment and instruments. Each Report of Calibration comes from our ISO Guide 17025 A2LA accredited calibration laboratory. larger image larger image  Follow These Simple Steps:    Call H-B Instrument Company at 610-489-5500 to place your calibration order. You will be given pricing, expected delivery date (typically 5 business days) and a Service Request Number (SR Number). Send your instrument/s to H-B Instrument Company. Our team of experts will inspect and compare your instrument against NIST (USA) and DKD (Europe) standard instruments and corrections will be recorded. A Report of Calibration will be created, checked, signed, sealed and laminated (meets record keeping requirements for FDA and ISO 9000). Your instrument and Report of Calibration will be returned to you. The data will be stored in the H-B Instrument Company database for future reference. Reminders will be sent out for annual recalibration 11 months after initial calibration. (NIST recommends instrument recalibration once a year).
